Maze Explorer is an educational package that introduces the user to the basics of programming and control. To do this, it uses the simplest instructions and ideas from the Logo programming language. The problems set by Maze Explorer are all based around freeing a small, robot bug from maze-like puzzles.
Until you register you will be able to use only one, randomly selected maze each time you open the program. The registered version also includes a maze editor for editong existing and creating new mazes.
Installation
If you're reading this then either you or your web browser has decoded the downloaded file. If you have Stuffit Expander or similar software, your browser may also have decompressed the rest of the package. If so, ignore the following.
Maze Explorer 1.0 is stored in a self extracting archive called mExplorer.sea
Open the archive (double click) and extract the contents onto your hard disc. This will create a folder on your drive called Maze Explorer 1.0 which contains the application, and registration details.
The User Guide in text and Clarisworks 2.0 formats can be downloaded from http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Mike_Darnell/
A Hypercard stack that allows you to view the full set of mazes available in the program before registering is also available from this site.
